The City Dispense 'Planned Preventative
Maintenance' Programme

With budgets tight and workers stretched thin, PPM has become a nice-to-have instead of a must-have for many in the leisure industry. Our operations and maintenance technicians find themselves operating in a reactive environment, never knowing what major equipment failure will occur next. So we carry out regular technical inspection visits to our customer’s sites, and produce reporting that indicates where PPM work should be carried out.

Best practices suggest that the majority of work should be preventive and most work orders should be generated following PPM inspections.

We start by focusing on the outlets cooling systems, such as the cellar cooling and remote coolers. Setting up maintenance schedules based on manufacturer guidelines and warranty conditions. Cleaning and inspecting cooling equipment’s various parts can reduce the energy costs associated with the system by up to 50 per cent.
